Welcome to your ultimate Dolls Nest NPC questline guide! This detailed walkthrough is designed to help players in New Game Plus (NG+) navigate NPC locations, quest decisions, and item rewards efficiently. If you’ve already completed your first run, you’re ready to dive into these complex and rewarding side stories.
Yoyo, the Collector
Important: Yoyo is essential for a separate questline. Do not kill her.
How to Find Yoyo
- Located in the Central Cavern, trapped in a room next to the first red gate after the large pipe section.
- Interact with her and offer a supplement when prompted.
Yoyo’s Role
- After receiving the supplement, Yoyo will relocate to the Decayed Broodchamber and open a shop.
Engage in her dialogue to learn more about the Decayed Broodchamber inhabitants.
Hati, the Pilgrim
Important: Hati’s quest requires multiple playthroughs to complete fully.
First Encounter:
- Found in a hallway near the Central Cavern’s first large open area (before the boss).
- Talk to Hati and exhaust her dialogue to receive an item.
Accumulation Zone:
- Find Hati outside the first area’s boss elevator.
- Speak again to gain another item.
Great Forest Location:
- After reaching the highway zone with the machine gun enemy, explore the large building to the right.
- Hati waits behind a shortcut door.
Water Treatment Levels:
- After defeating the machine gun enemy or boss, Hati moves just outside a shortcut hallway leading to an open zone.
- Exhaust her dialogue and reload the area.
The Turning Point:
- Hati is branded a heretic. You must choose between two routes:
Route A: Help Hati
- Unlock the Unknown Ruins shortcut at the back right of the large open area.
- Reload and inform Hati about the ruins.
- Hati will relocate to the ruins (questline continues).
Route B: Betray Hati
- Speak to Silas, the Believer at the Fault chapel.
- Report Hati, leading to her crucifixion and death (Bad Ending).
- After her death, Hati’s FOLS Frame is obtained.
Note: Killing Hati manually will drop the Dainsleif Rear Arm.
Yashica & Mushica, the Mechsmith Twins
- Completing this mini-quest rewards you with the Type 00 MNK Sabi frame.

Gilli-Vell, the Wanderer
Important: Gilli-Vell’s quest requires multiple playthroughs for full rewards.
Accumulation Zone First Meet:
- Upon spawning, turn around and locate the path to a locked shortcut to meet Gilli-Vell.
- Forbidden Domain Encounter:
- Find Gilli-Vell in a hidden room on the ground floor near the tree.
- Speak and exhaust dialogue options.
Pro Tip: Destroy a cracked wall near the tree using a bolt-firing enemy to reveal an important quest item.
Divine Tomb of Wisdom:
- Locate Gilli-Vell inside a hut beneath the ramp leading to the boss.
- Talk and reload the area.
- Next, find her at the tree near the boss.
Warning: Killing the boss before speaking to her here alters her quest route.
Route A: Save Gilli-Vell
- If you have the message item from the Forbidden Domain, give it to her.
- Gilli-Vell moves to the Decayed Broodchamber and becomes a vendor, offering a range of new frames and arms.
Route B: Gilli-Vell’s Tragic End
- Without the message or choosing silence, Gilli-Vell falls into despair.
- She relocates to the Central Cavern tree and ultimately dies, leaving behind two weapons.
Aja, the Travelling Merchant
How to Find Aja: After the highway section in the Great Forest, turn right and descend the path.
Critical Decision
- Aja is killed if you defeat the area’s boss without eliminating Yodo, the Investigator nearby.
Note: Killing Yodo prematurely disrupts her and Vorg’s linked questline.
Currently, Aja has no full questline confirmed.
Yodo, the Investigator
Meeting Yodo
- Located below Aja’s position in the Great Forest.
Quest Progression
- After killing the area boss, revisit Aja’s location to find her corpse if you didn’t intervene.
- Yodo’s quest continues once Vorg’s questline progresses.
Final Encounters
- After progressing Vorg’s story, find Yodo near the Bridge Tree, next to the 02-marked hallway.
- Reveal that you met Vorg, exhaust Yodo’s dialogue, and reload.
Yodo’s Fate
- Following the events, discover Yodo’s body next to Vorg’s.
- Loot AR T18A1 DRANGRA assault rifle from Yodo’s corpse.
Note: Killing Yodo manually drops her frame. Alternate endings depending on Vorg’s quest progress are still being investigated.
Vorg, the Fallen Soldier
Where to Find Vorg
- Located in the Great Forest, in a ruined building overlooking the highway section.
Look for a hole in the wall; Vorg is hidden inside.
How to Assist Vorg
- Vorg is a damaged nymph with rusted limbs.
- Bring her the following Bionic Parts, reloading the area after each delivery:
- Bionic Part 8
- Bionic Part 9
- Bionic Part 10
Vorg’s Journey
- After receiving the parts, Vorg relocates to the Arboreal Nest Tree.
- Exhaust her dialogue to progress further.
Linked to Yodo’s Quest
- Advance Yodo’s questline until she appears at the Bridge Tree.
- Inform Yodo about Vorg’s location.
Afterward:
- Move past the Bridge Tree’s first gate, turn right, go through the doorway, and exit left.
- Find Vorg alongside Yodo’s corpse. Speak with Vorg and reload the area.
- Vorg’s DRAG frame set and Yodo’s marker will appear.
Alternate Outcomes
- Killing Vorg early (before she moves) grants you:
- Fremzy Battle Rifle
- MVG033
Tip: You can still complete Vorg’s quest even if you choose to kill her early.
Calrad, the Coward
Location
- Discovered in the Arboreal Nest, near the shortcut elevator and door leading back to the tree.
Fate of Calrad
- If Yodo survives the Great Forest boss fight, Calrad will die after your first meeting, leaving behind her Calrog Frame.
Player Choices
- Killing Calrad yourself before Yodo intervenes rewards you with the SMG T12A2 VADT.
Note: Calrad has limited dialogue, and her questline remains largely unexplored.
Silas, the Believer
Finding Silas
- Resides in a chapel located in the Fault area, accessible via a shortcut.
Quest Requirements
- Progress Hati’s questline until she becomes a heretic in the Water Treatment Levels.
- Choose to inform Silas about Hati’s status.
Quest Progression
- Silas requests that you bring Hati to her.
- After delivering Hati, Silas tasks you with retrieving the Divine Flower, located at the back of the Forbidden Zone near a wall.
Endgame
- After handing over the Divine Flower and exhausting Silas’ dialogue:
- Reload twice.
- Silas crucifies Hati to create a new queen nymph.
- Find Hati’s frame in front of the pillar.
- Receive Graphite and Palladium Husks after repeated conversations.
Note: Silas remains a vendor post-questline completion.
Talking Automaton Head
First Encounter
- Located immediately after taking the elevator from Central Cavern into The Depths.
Quest Objective
- The Automaton requests a new body. Three options exist:
Body Locations
- Water Treatment Levels:
After removing the red barrier with “Her Right Eye,” proceed through the door, turn left, and continue along the path. - Accumulation Zone:
From the shortcut with two fairy teleporters, head left, follow the broken-pipe hallway, and locate the body at the larger chamber’s back. - Great Forest:
At the top level of the crumbling building before the nymph arena; rewards you with SG T34A1 TOZ (Slug Shotgun).
Next Steps
- After installing the body, the Automaton moves:
- First to the large ramp near the area boss elevator in the Accumulation Zone.
- Then to the tree in the Forbidden Domain, where it requests a new power core.
Power Core Options
- Small Power Reactor: Purchase from Yoyo in the Decayed Broodchamber.
- Contaminated Power Reactor: Find in the Forbidden Domain.
Final Stage
- After providing a power core, the Automaton moves to the nymph boss fight room (after reloading).

- After defeating the Unknown Frame boss in The Depths, you will encounter Shara.

- Sheol offers no dialogue beyond sleeping sounds.
Aftermath
- Reloading the area reveals that Eden has mysteriously vanished.
